Terms of Sale & Claims Policy (B2B)
As PICO BioScience GmbH exclusively supplies to commercial entities, research institutes, and professional laboratories, all sales are final. There is no voluntary right of return or withdrawal once an order has been placed and confirmed.
1. Inspection and Notification of Defects (Duty to Inspect)
In accordance with § 377 HGB (German Commercial Code), the customer must inspect the goods immediately upon delivery.

Visible Defects & Transport Damage: Any damage to the packaging or deviations in the required shipping temperature must be reported to PICO BioScience in writing within 24 hours of receipt.

Hidden Defects: Any functional defects not discoverable upon initial inspection must be reported immediately upon discovery.

Failure to notify us within these timeframes constitutes acceptance of the goods.
2. Temperature-Sensitive Products
Our Protein Detection Kits are fragile and require strict adherence to the storage conditions specified in the product manual. PICO BioScience warrants the integrity of the product only until the point of delivery to the customer's specified facility.

We are not liable for product degradation resulting from improper storage, failure to maintain the cold chain after delivery, or handling contrary to the manual.
3. Warranty and Replacements
If a product is proven to be defective at the time of delivery (and a claim was made within the timeframe specified in Section 1), PICO BioScience will, at its discretion:

Provide a replacement kit free of charge, or

Issue a credit note for the purchase price. Returns of biological materials will only be accepted with prior written Return Material Authorization (RMA) and must follow our specific cold-chain shipping instructions.
4. Cancellation of Orders
Orders for custom-manufactured kits or specialized assays cannot be canceled once production has commenced.
